Why doesn't anybody talk about overpopulation? Isn't it obvious that there are way too many people on this planet? Isn't it clear that population control is essential for dealing with climate change? I mean really, people.

the 'caravan' and overpopulation

Of course the mainstream media would never admit to this, but a big reason why these people from Central America are heading toward the States is that their countries are overpopulated. I heard an interview with a young man from El Salvador in this 'caravan.' He was complaining that there weren't enough jobs in his country. No, the problem isn't that their aren't enough jobs; the problem is that there are too many people! These countries are overpopulated, but that's their problem, and it's a problem they should recognize and try to do something about. These countries are simply trying to export their surplus populations, but we have no ethical responsibility to accept them-- and we shouldn't.
